The drama of afternoon thunderstorms gave way to a sun dappled, dewy evening on the water at Kent Manor; the perfect setting for Kelly and Jim's nuptials. The gorgeous inn and acreage on Thompson Creek was a picturesque destination for nearly two hundred guests and the happy couple.

Denise & Eric, Baltimore, MD

Denise & Eric, Baltimore, MD. Memorial Day, 2008

Yesterday was a clear blue sky day at the inner harbor in Baltimore where I met up with the coolest couple, Denise & Eric. They were kind enough to endure the hot afternoon sun, crowds, and my chit chat to allow me to capture them in their favorite part of Charm City. We started out @ J Paul's Inner Harbor watering hole on Light St., (formerly Paolo's) then walked the length of the harbor to end the afternoon on Federal Hill . Motored up and around Ft. McHenry to walk out to see the view of the Baltimore skyline. We left the fort to beat the heat with some beer and a late lunch at Ryleigh's Oyster Bar. at 36 E. Cross St. The oysters and our entrees were outstanding and it was fun getting to know Denise and Eric a bit better.

Promise...for the Savvy Bride

Today I stopped by Promise...for the Savvy Bride boutique in downtown Bethesda. Shop owners Juliana and daughter Jessica are always fun to chat with. Their new boutique space overlooks booming St. Elmo Street. Promise is filled with a unique collection of designer gowns and a very attentive staff. Promise has huge dressing rooms, comfortable seating and of course lots of gorgeous bridal attire! Looking forward to stopping by again soon for a peek at what's new, thanks ladies!

Charlotte May, almost Four Months Old! Sunday Shoot

This Sunday shoot was way up in lovely Hagerstown for a family friend's four-month-old baby girl, Charlotte May. Each time we travel to Hagerstown, MD I want to start looking at real estate. It's an awesome family town and, "the houses are sick," as three-year-old Sophia likes to describe them. She's right. Her house is quite a big, gorgeous place too.
We had fun hanging out before nap time and I loved photographing sweet Sophia, her Mommy & baby sister. Thanks Liz & Paul!

Brooke and Brian met up with me in Bethesda this weekend and brought along their peppy little dog Lucy. We had a few laughs and made some pictures along their walk through Rock Creek Park. A very fun couple to spend time with and I wish them all the best in their new digs!
